Recai Kutan: He was a close friend of Necmettin Erbakan, the former Prime Minister of Turkey and leader of Islamist Welfare Party (RP). His political career started in 1973 in National Salvation Party (Milli Selamet Partisi) and after 1983 he served in Welfare Party. After the closure of RP, he became the leader of Islamic political parties Virtue Party (Fazilet Partisi) between 1997 and 2001, and Felicity Party (Saadet Partisi) between 2001 and 2008. He was the Minister of Energy in 1996. Kutan was the founder of Kanal 7 with Zekeriya Karaman and Haşim Bayram. After a while, when the controversies arose about the foundation of Kanal 7, Kutan sold his shares to Zekeriya Karaman and Mustafa Çelik.
Haşim Bayram: He founded Kombassan Holding in 1989 and served as the CEO until 2007. Holding has been active in food and marketing, construction, oil products, marble and minerals, textile and tourism sectors. He was a shareholder of Yeni Dünya
